Key events this month were:

• Our wedding anniversary – 21 years this year on 16 June!  We had a weekend san children in Shanghai staying at the Les Orient Suites, 1, East Jinling Road, right at the beginning of Le Bund on the Huanhpu River.  The manager Joseph Pi looked after us.
  What was so fascinating about Shanghai is that so much of the Colonial building have survived the Cultural Revolution, and are only now being beautifully refurnished back to their former glory.
  The only disappointment was the Maglev – we only hit 301km/hr on inbound and outbound legs (see picture below).  Back when it was first opened the top speed was 431km/hr – see this 321321 archive photo.
  [21 years – also means my best-man daughter Susan will be 21 this year too!]
