www.321321.com is the home of the photo gallery for Charlotte and Conrad from 2001 to 2016. It stopped being updated in 2016 after the family moved back to the UK and we could see immediate family in person.
www.321321.com was started in 2001, soon after Lottie was born, and before photo sharing sites like Flickr and Picasa (or even Facebook or Instagram) had become popular or had even become part of the general day-to-day web experience.
The key audience for www.321321.com was Lottie and Conrad’s immediate family namely: their grandparents, uncles, aunts, god parents, nieces and nephews.
www.321321.com was started so those dear to us could see Lottie and then Conrad’s development, given from 1997 to 2014 we and they live on different continents. Papa tried to update 321321 weekly – mainly while sitting on short and long haul trips across Asia. In those early days the site was not on the cloud – everything was on Peter’s laptop and having generated the html code it was manually updated to the server!
From 2001 to 2010 www.321321.com was powered by NetObjects Fusion. It was initially built using NetObjects 4 (released in 1999). Over time as NetObjects Fusion was upgraded so was the code for 321321. In 2015 the archived NetObjects webcode was updated to keep it HTML 4 compliant using NetObjects Fusion 2015. It was a bit of a labour of love!
In 2011, www.321321.com swapped to being powered by WordPress with all editing and uploading moving onto the cloud.

Transition Note
321321 was transitioned from our previous hosting company SiteGround to ChemiCloud in November 2025 .
When 321321 was set up in 2001 it was originally hosted on Hostway. Back then the html was stored locally which was then uploaded to the host via ftp. It then transitioned to BlueHost, then to SiteGround.
During the early days from [Month -9 to 0] to [Month 15] 321321 was hand coded. If you click on an image – a separate image is loaded.
From [Month 16] to [December 2010] NetObjects was used and when you click on an image it loads and then allows you to scroll within a month from image to image.
It appears that at the previous transition the html file: /html/photoarchive.html did not get transitioned. A work-around has been put in place in the form of a .htaccess Redirect:
