Key events this month were:

• We move into our new house into our rented house in Effingham on Tue 5 Aug.
• The first weekend of August we headed up to Harrogate for Sam’s 90th birthday party and a party to welcome Norma’s cousins from Australia who have communicated all their life but never met.
• Karen and Gordon had the kids for a week which allowed Peter to get his head down and break the back of the unpacking
• Peter and the kids then spent a week with Karen and Gordon, Roro, Harriet and their cousins Eleanor & Rebecca at the Windermere Motor Boat Racing Club family week on Lake Windermere.
• After an amazing week in the Lakes it was back to Effingham to continue unpacking the house and getting everyone ready for School.
• The Grant’s from Singapore popped over to visit and Olivia had a sleep-over with Lottie.
