June 2014

Below are pictures of Charlotte Elizabeth Janet and Conrad James Stevenson taken between: 1st June 2014 and 30 June 2014.  We are now on the countdown for moving to the UK.

Key events this month were:

  • We are now on the count-down for our move to the UK.  We packed Wed 18 Jun to Thu 19 Jun.  We are now camping out in the house.  We hand back our apartment on Mon 14 Jul.  London here we come…
  • Brontë flies on the Thu 17 Jul and should be with us on Fri 18 Jul when we move into a dog-friendly apartment in Hampton Court.
  • Next key date is Mon 4 Aug when Lottie has an appointment at Epsom School to be kitted out in her new school uniform. (Daddy please bring the Brinks Mat van!)
  • We move into our new house in Effingham on Tue 5 Aug
  • Here are some limericks that Lottie wrote for school:

Lottie once had an annoying brother,
She wanted to swap for another.
    He can be pushy,
    And also a wussy,
But he is always loved by our mother.

Susan Stevenson is a world renowned mother,
She cuddles and kisses until I smother.
    She buys me nice clothes,
    With pink pretty bows,
I would never replace for another.

There once was an amazing dad called Peter,
He was always there to watch me run a kilometre.
    He helps me with prep,
    Goes through step by step,
And says I run like a cheater.

  • Susan got the limericks while travelling in the UK with her boss Gail.  This was their reply with the help of Gail and Tommy their Addison Lee Driver:

There once was a girl we called Lottie pops.
At sport she pulls out the stops.
    The school work could suffer.
But you know she’s no duffer.
Whatever happens in life she’s the tops.

  • Susan arrives back in Hong Kong on 20 June for planning meetings.
The next to pack up are Mum and Dad Burton with the help of Susan Godson et al from Barbados.  Their pack date is 26 July.
